Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
Two garden entrances
The Calyx sits toward the southern end of the Royal Botanic Garden. The two closest entrances are Woolloomooloo Gate (opposite Naala Badu at the Art Gallery of NSW) and Morshead Fountain Gate (opposite the State Library of NSW). For the most accessible footpaths, and for Uber or taxi drop-off, we'd recommend Woolloomooloo Gate.
Once you're through either gate, just follow the signage around the garden to The Calyx. If you need a hand getting there for mobility reasons, a golf buggy is available to pick up guests from the gates, just let one of our team know when you arrive.
However you're arriving
Uber / Taxi
Woolloomooloo Gate has the quietest street frontage for drop-off. Set your destination to "Naala Badu" and enter through the gate past the fountains across the street.
Train
The nearest stations are Martin Place (10 min walk) or St James (12 min walk), both entering via Morshead Fountain Gate. Or alight at Circular Quay and take the 15 minute walk in via Opera House Gate for some of the best views in Sydney.
Ferry
Regular ferries come and go from Circular Quay, about a 15 minute walk from The Calyx via Opera House Gate. A lovely excuse for the Manly Ferry return trip that morning, if you're up for it.
Driving in
We'd recommend pre-booking a space at any of the below for the best price and availability.
Hudson House
Macquarie Street. Wilson Parking, with a drive-up casual rate or flat night/weekend rates.
Parkhouse
Macquarie Street, a 3 minute walk from Morshead Fountain Gate. Another convenient Wilson Parking site.
Wilson Parking, The Domain
St Mary's Road. Best suited to Woolloomooloo Gate, a 10 minute walk along Art Gallery Road through The Domain.
